SASS Clinical Faculty Awards

The School of Audiology and Speech Sciences is grateful for the support and contribution of all our Clinical Faculty.

In 2009, the School established the Clinical Faculty Awards to recognize exceptional Clinical Faculty who demonstrate excellence in and commitment to the clinical education of our students.

The Awards include the Elizabeth MacLeod Award for Excellence in Clinical Education (Speech-Language Pathology) and the Noelle Lamb Award for Excellence in Clinical Education (Audiology).

While nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis, the deadline for submissions for the current year is November 15. All nominations received after that date will be considered for the following year.

Current Clinical Faculty Award Recipients

The Elizabeth MacLeod Award for Excellence in Clinical Education (Speech-Language Pathology) for 2021 has been awarded to Jeffrey Rowell. Jeffrey is a Clinical Instructor with our School, who works as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

The Noelle Lamb Award for Excellence in Clinical Education (Audiology) for 2021 has been awarded to Dr. Charlotte Douglas. Dr. Douglas is a Clinical Assistant Professor in our School, and works as an Audiologist at Hear2Understand Audiology Services.

The faculty and administration of the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences are pleased to have the opportunity to recognize Mr. Rowell and Dr. Douglas for their many contributions to the School’s educational mission, and extend sincere congratulations to them all.
