Summary of the Role:
- Work with clients and their families to set Speech therapy goals which have targeted and measurable outcomes
- Provide direct service, consultation, mediation, and education to client, family, and community providers with a focus on maximizing a child’s communication-verbal or nonverbal mode.
- Utilize research to establish and support evidence-based practice
- Provision of in-school consultations to teachers as and when needed
Senior speech therapists will be expected to take on supervisory and administrative roles in addition to clinical work
