Clinical Educators taking students in 2025 and onwards, or any clinicians interested in student evaluation, are encouraged to join this initial information session on the new Canadian Assessment of Clinical Competence.
This new assessment tool was developed through years of collaboration by the Canadian Academic Coordinators of Clinical Education (CACCE). Select SASS Faculty have worked alongside all twelve audiology and S-LP university programs across the country, creating a national assessment framework that clarifies clinical competencies required for entry-to-practice in Canada.
It is an exciting development that centers competency-based learning and has already been piloted at multiple Canadian institutions.
