Eavan Sinden

Biography
Eavan Sinden is a Speech-Language Pathologist, trained in the University College Cork, Ireland, in addition to having a Master’s degree in Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh.

Eavan’s clinical work has primarily been in the area of adult rehabilitation, most recently working at the Aphasia Institute in Toronto. Her experience has focused on developing programs and resources for people with aphasia within the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA) model. She is trained in Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia (SCA™) and is the author of the “Your Life: Looking Back, Moving Forward”, a communicatively accessible resource, created to facilitate people with aphasia rediscover their identity through storytelling.
