Position: Pediatric Audiologist

In this position, the Pediatric Audiologist practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC). This role offers the Pediatric Audiologist opportunity to practice in a public health care setting that encompass clinical audiological screening, assessment, diagnostic, treatment, and dispensing amplification equipment; technical services; and supervision of Audiometric Technicians. Client population ranges from newborn to 19 years of age and health promotion activities include liaison, counselling and educational sessions with clients and their families, as well as community partners and professionals. Practice is in collaboration with the BC Early Hearing Program; a program that is ranked as one of the best in the World. With this opportunity is the benefit of sharing clinic space with a second Pediatric Audiologist located in the Kelowna Health Centre.
