Position: Speech-Language Pathologist

Assess, consult and recommend strategies to support a range of needs (from mild to severely disabling conditions). Support and inclusive service delivery model that includes consulting primarily with ECDP-Grade 12 teachers to infuse language, communication and speech strategies into the routines and activities of the classroom. This model will also include training educational assistants working in the classroom settings and may include training parents on how they can support a child’s functional speech development. Support parents and school staff to collaboratively support and prepare young children for formal schooling. Liaise with the local health authority to coordinate services and transition caseload(s).
